In May 2019, Doug Mastriano was overwhelmingly elected as Pennsylvania's 33rd District Senator. As a member of the PA Senate, Mastriano was a leader in reopening the state, reversing unconstitutional mandates and fighting individual freedom. He was the voice of the people and when others did not oppose him, he stood up with confidence and defended individual freedom.

Mastriano was drafted into the Army in 1986 and served under the Iron Curtain, where he witnessed the end of the Cold War before being deployed to Iraq in Operation Desert Storm (1991) to liberate Kuwait. He served in Washington, D.C., with the 3rd Infantry Division and in the US Army, Europe.
After 9/11, Mastriano was the main planner of the invasion of Iraq by Turkey. He served four years in NATO and was deployed to Afghanistan three times. He was the director of NATO's joint intelligence center in Afghanistan and led 80 people from 18 countries. On his own initiative, Mastriano led seven operations to help Afghan orphans. He ended his military career as a professor at the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA, teaching strategic studies to the next generation of senior leaders.
Mastriano completed his education with four master's degrees and a Ph.D. in history. Doug is also an Eagle Scout and is proud to have worked as a paper boy, janitor, security guard, cook, pizza delivery boy and dishwasher in his younger years.
Doug is happily married to Rebbie (Rebecca Stewart) and they are the proud parents of Josiah. Doug and Rebbie are active members of their church and live in Central Pennsylvania.

He led the search for the Medal of Fame site for Alvin York, America's greatest World War I hero, and directed the construction of the Medal of Fame.
